Botanical Bundle Dyed and mini wreath workshop

£75.00

A celebration of winter through the simple art of bundle dyeing with textile artist and natural dyer Rachael Pilston. This workshop is a great introduction to naturally dye and the colours you can get from plants.

We’ll use florists waste from the beautiful Bleak House studio, preserving the colours of winter flowers and plants on a bamboo silk ribbon.

Over the workshop you will learn how to make your own bundles and find out the best ways to get colour from wasted or foraged plants. It’s the only time you’ll feel good about squashing flowers.

We’ll also be making a mini wreath, approximately 8 inch in size. You’ll come away with a set of textile ribbons , and we’ll use these ribbons to decorate the wreath. No need to have any background in craft or dyeing, this workshop is suitable for all and all tools are provided.

Workshop Location: Studio 5, 5a Priory Grove SW8 2PD

Workshop date and time 11th December 7-9pm
